This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information, in line with PIPEDA and applicable Ontario law.

Introduction

1001305074 Ontario Inc., doing business as Futurebloom ("Futurebloom," "we," "our," or "us") is an Ontario corporation that provides Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and related services to businesses and professionals.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit futurebloom.ai, contact us, or use our services. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us

When you inquire about, subscribe to, or use our services, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your business name, address, phone, website, services, and service area
  • Billing contact and payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)
  • Information you provide during onboarding and throughout the engagement, such as the questions you want your business to be the answer for, existing content, and approvals

2.2 Access to Your Systems

To deliver our services, you may grant a Futurebloom account access to systems you control, such as your website, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and analytics. Where access requires a shared credential, it is stored in an access-controlled password manager and is available only to the team members working on your account. You may revoke access at any time through the relevant platform.

2.3 Website Usage Data

When you visit futurebloom.ai we may automatically collect technical data: IP address and general location, browser and device type, pages visited, time spent, and referring URL. We use Google Analytics for this; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2.4 Email and Communications

If you reply to an email from us or contact us, we keep that correspondence to manage the relationship.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver and manage the services you have subscribed to
  • Optimize your website, listings, and profiles on your behalf
  • Process payments and manage billing
  • Communicate with you about your account, reports, and service updates
  • Improve our services and methods
  • Meet legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

How We Share Your Information

4.1 Service Providers

We use third-party providers to run the business, including Stripe (payments), Google (Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics), Microsoft (Bing Webmaster Tools), and our email and document tools. They may process your information only to provide services to us.

4.2 Sample Work Product and Case Studies

As described in our Terms of Service, we may use your business name, engagement results, and reports or audits as sample work product and case studies unless you opt out. We remove credentials and customer data from anything shared this way.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

4.4 Business Transfers

If Futurebloom is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you by email or a notice on our website.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your engagement is active and as needed to provide services. After an engagement ends we retain your information for 90 days in case you return, then delete or anonymize it, except where law requires longer retention. Shared credentials are removed from our password manager within 30 days of the engagement ending.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information: encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access-controlled storage of credentials, and access limited to the people working on your account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by law.

Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to its use (subject to legal or contractual limits), ask us to delete it (subject to retention obligations), or request it in a portable format. Contact us at the address in Section 10; we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will update the effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or a notice on our website.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, including PIPEDA. Disputes arising from it are resolved in the courts of Ontario.
