AEO Companies for Businesses: Who Does It, What It Costs, and How to Choose

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) companies get a business named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude or Google's AI for a recommendation. As of October 2026, the companies that do AEO for businesses include Futurebloom, dNOVO Group, First Page Sage, iPullRank, NoGood, Omniscient Digital, Search Engine People, Siege Media, Thrive Internet Marketing Agency and WebFX. Tools such as Otterly.AI, Peec AI, Profound and Scrunch measure AI visibility but do not do the work. Published prices run from $389 a month to more than $20,000 a month, and the right choice depends mostly on the size of your business.

Who wrote this, and how

Futurebloom publishes this page and is one of the companies on it. Every fact about another company comes from that company's own website, checked on October 1, 2026. Prices and terms change, so confirm with the company before you decide.

Which companies do AEO for businesses?

There are two kinds of company you will come across.

  1. Agencies that do the work for you. They set up the technical foundations, publish content and track where AI names you. The ten in this comparison are Futurebloom, dNOVO Group, First Page Sage, iPullRank, NoGood, Omniscient Digital, Search Engine People, Siege Media, Thrive Internet Marketing Agency and WebFX.
  2. Software that measures AI visibility. Otterly.AI, Peec AI, Profound and Scrunch show you where AI mentions you. Someone on your team still has to do the work that changes the result.

The agencies differ most in who they are built for. NoGood names startups, scaleups and Fortune 100 brands. Siege Media names software, fintech and e-commerce brands. Omniscient Digital works with B2B software companies. dNOVO Group names law firms, medical practices and professional services. Futurebloom works with small and mid-size businesses. Thrive and Search Engine People say they take businesses of any size.

Most of these companies do not use the term AEO. You will see the same service sold as GEO (generative engine optimization), AI SEO, AI search optimization or LLM optimization. They all mean getting your business named in AI answers.

What an AEO company actually does

AI assistants recommend businesses they can identify, verify and quote. An AEO company works on the things that make that possible:

  • Schema markup. Code on your website that tells AI what your business is, where it is and what it offers.
  • Google Business Profile. A complete, accurate, active listing.
  • Citations. Your business name, address and phone number listed consistently in the directories AI trusts.
  • Answer pages. Pages on your site that each answer one question your customers ask.
  • Tracking. A record of which AI platforms name you, and for which questions.

A tool gives you the last item only. An agency does all five.

Tools that measure AI visibility

These are software subscriptions. They run prompts through AI platforms and report where your brand appears. They suit a business that already has a marketing team to act on the findings.

What AEO costs

Only three of the ten agencies publish a starting price for the service:

  • Futurebloom: $389 a month, or $789 a month with traditional SEO included.
  • WebFX: $3,000 a month.
  • Omniscient Digital: from $10,000 a month.

NoGood does not give an AEO price but says its average retainer across the agency is above $20,000 a month. The other six ask you to request a quote.

Tools cost less because you do the work yourself: from $29 a month at Otterly.AI to $250 a month at Scrunch, with custom pricing above that.

Prices are shown as each company publishes them. Most do not state a currency.

How to choose an AEO company

Ask each company these seven questions. The answers separate them quickly.

  1. Do you do the work, or do I? A tool reports. An agency builds the schema, the listings and the pages.
  2. Who do you normally work with? A company built for Fortune 500 brands will not price or staff for a three-location clinic, and the reverse is true too.
  3. What does it cost each month, and what is included? If the price is not on the website, ask for it in writing before the first call ends.
  4. Is there a minimum term? Month to month, a recommended period and a fixed contract are three different commitments.
  5. Which AI platforms do you track, and how will you show me? Ask to see a sample report with the actual questions and which platform named the client.
  6. Do I keep what you build? The schema, the pages and the listings should stay yours if you leave.
  7. Who is my contact? One named person who knows your business, or a shared queue.

Where Futurebloom fits

Futurebloom is a done-for-you AEO company for small and mid-size businesses. It is based in Ontario, Canada.

  • What we do: an AI visibility audit, schema markup, Google Business Profile management, citation building, new answer pages every month, and tracking of AI mentions.
  • What it costs: $389 a month for the Starter plan. The Professional plan at $789 a month adds traditional SEO. Enterprise plans for multi-location businesses are quoted individually.
  • Terms: month to month. You keep everything we publish.
  • Who you deal with: a dedicated account manager, and a report by email every month.
  • Results so far: every one of our clients has seen their first AI recommendations within 30 days of setup.

We are a good fit if you run a business like a trade, a clinic, a law firm or a local service, and you want the work done for you at a price you can see before you call.

We are not the right fit for everyone. A software or e-commerce brand is who agencies like Siege Media and Omniscient Digital say they serve. If you already have a marketing team and only need measurement, a tool such as Otterly.AI or Scrunch costs less than any agency.

You can see where you stand today with the free score check on our homepage. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude real questions about your kind of business in your city, and shows you who they named.
